Personal training is different for many people.  For some, it’s about weight loss or muscle gain.  For me, it was about recovery and getting back to everyday life.  I was injured in a motorcycle accident in my early 30’s.  I broke both of my wrists and my pelvis, among other things.  I completed physical therapy and was sent on my way.  The problem was I could no longer exercise the way I had all my life.  Everything I tried just made everything hurt to the point that I stopped exercising altogether.  After several years of feeling sorry for myself and letting my muscles atrophy, I started looking into the different ways to strengthen my body that didn’t affect the injuries I suffered.  I constantly research and explore new techniques and avenues of exercise.  My goal is to help you find your path to exercise, no matter your current activity level or strength.  If you have been sitting still for too long or have been injured and can’t find a way to exercise that isn’t outright painful, Restorative Spot might be able to help you get back to feeling like you again.

Sports have always been a part of my life; I have been playing since I was in fourth grade. In that time, my teammates and I endured the unpleasant side effects of intense motions and strains while experiencing some of the greatest moments and most burdensome battles. During one of my basketball games, I realized that I had to start taking better care of my body when I began to have a back spasm. I could not take my own jersey off or walk because any movement would send a pulsing pain down my legs. I was fortunate enough to have met Kevin during this time. He introduced me to various exercises and tools that helped me restore mobility and helped me continue playing. After this restorative experience and for the last 4 years I was able to intern and work for him, where I have learned his equipment and obtained the experience and skills needed to help individuals experiencing challenges that prevent them from doing daily tasks or the things they love. Restorative Spot assisted me in getting back on track and I hope you will give us the opportunity to do the same for you.
